MIT IIKS aims to provide best-in-class education in bharatiya knowledge by creating a convenient virtual ambience for interaction of expert traditional scholars passionate to teach with enthusiastic audience passionate to learn. Our audience is not students merely studying to get a livelihood but who want to make an innovative difference to the world with traditional bharatiya knowledge. With our preference for quality over quantity, we know and accept that our enrollments will not be very high.
Our secondary objective is to support traditional scholars with a decent honorarium that respects and supports their commitment to bharatiya civilizational cause. When students enroll in our courses, they are not merely paying for a commercial service but contributing to the upkeep of sanatana dharma by nourishing its knowledge core.
Pricing Rationale
MIT IIKS follows a standard policy followed by all of India’s colleges of different pricing for resident citizens of India versus citizens of other countries. This is based on purchasing power disparities.
Actually, our India pricing is heavily discounted relative to the cost of running the program. At India prices, our enrolment numbers need to be 5 times higher to meet our expenses. We know that is impractical. Hence we rely on non-India student enrolments to break even and sustain our programs. That is the stark reality.
IIKS Pricing Policy
IIKS courses have a US Dollar (USD) price and an Indian Rupee (INR) price. The INR price Is applicable only to students who have a valid India citizenship and residential address within India. They must furnish a copy of their India passport and recent address proof for this purpose.
For others,the USD price is applicable. No exceptions. If a student is unable to provide the requisite documentation or unwilling to comply with our policy, we are free to cancel their enrolment at any time.
We request patrons to consider their fees as contribution to support scholars and Dharma like we do, and not merely as a commercial commodity purchase.
