MIT IIKS announces collaboration with Hindu University of America, Florida

MAEER’s Institute for Indic Knowledge Studies, Pune (MIT IIKS) in collaboration with Hindu University of America, Florida, USA (HUA) [www.hua.edu] is pleased to announce the availability of the Master of Arts in Sanskrit Program for students residing outside of India.

At the MIT IIKS, we believe in furthering the cause of education in Indic Knowledge Systems across the globe and that our partners are a true reflection of our core values.

Hindu University of America (HUA) was established in 1989 with a vision to provide students with a unique academic environment to explore the knowledge systems rooted in Indic and Vedic thought. Today after close to 25 years of existence HUA continues to be committed to the purpose of higher knowledge, the evolution of human consciousness and the emergence of enlightenment.

As a part of this collaboration, HUA will now be able to offer the Master of Arts in Sanskrit program to locations outside of India. Those learners residing outside of India, who are fluent in understanding and speaking in Sanskrit can now connect to their knowledge roots of Shaastric learning immersively in the Sanskrit medium through this program.

MIT IIKS and HUA are committed to provide –

·        Authentic Shaastric learning in Shaastras in Sanskrit medium.

·        Lectures by hand-picked erudite scholars who have absorbed Shaastras through the traditional mode of learning.

·        Online learning supported by a robust LMS to facilitate working professionals to manage academic pursuit without being overwhelmed.

·        Empowerment to learners to be able to read Shaastric texts on one’s own by the end of the program.

·        Enable learners to be ambassadors of Indic / Vedic knowledge systems in their choice of communities (academic and non-academic).
