Academic Programs

B.Sc. in Liberal Vedic Sciences

A Modern Degree Grounded in Timeless Wisdom

This unique undergraduate program, recognized by Kavikulguru Kalidasa Sanskrit University (Ramtek), offers an integrative curriculum that blends Vedic and Western sciences, preparing students for real-world challenges and higher education.

Course Highlights:

  • Designed for both mainstream and Gurukula students
  • 26 core courses across 6 semesters (120 credits)

  • Vedic & Western Scientific Thought
  • Reasoning, Debate & Computational Thinking
  • Structure & Method of Shaastras

Duration: 3 years

Fee: ₹40,000 annually (₹15,000 sponsorship available in Year 1)

Eligibility: 10+2 from a recognized board or Gurukula background

M.A. Sanskrit
(Shaastra Studies – Sanskrit Medium)

Immersive Study of Indic Shaastras in Their Original Language

A master’s program designed for those seeking deep, authentic engagement with India’s scientific Shaastra tradition — even without prior IKS exposure.

What You Will Learn:

  • Core Shaastras: Vedanta, Nyaya, Mimaamsa (Intro & Advanced)
  • Language mastery through 4 levels of Veda, Vyaakarana, Sahitya
  • Structure and Method of Shaastras
  • Electives: Jyotisa, Yoga, Ayurveda
  • Internship + Independent Text Study Project

Launch Your Research Journey in Indian Knowledge Systems

Tailored for aspirants seeking Ph.D. in IKS at top institutes like IITs, IISc, etc., this program offers hands-on, mentor-led training in Shaastra-based, interdisciplinary research.

Course Phases:

  • Jul–Sep: Research Orientation, Literature Survey
  • Oct–Mar: Guided Research
  • Apr–May: Dissertation & Publication
